Carolyn Saito Lots of good memories November 10, 2013
Sometime in 2012 I began stopping by Kenny and Evan's office to help with their accounting work.  Each time I'd let myself in and just begin to work, not knowing if they had clients in or were on the phone giving advice.  Sooner or later Kenny would open his door and exclaim, "Carrie!  It's so nice to see you!"  He'd give me a hug and a kiss on the cheek, offer to buy me lunch or coffee, and ask me how Dave was doing.  He was a great listener who could offer advice if he thought I wanted it, but who also knew when just a hug or a pat on my shoulder was what I needed.

I remember the last hug and kiss very well.  It was on October 19th, the day we celebrated our September/October family birthdays.  I was hoping I still had more hugs coming, because I know how much I will miss them.
Ethan Chan Dad November 7, 2013
One thing I remember about my dad is how when he drove me to elementary school as a kid, he always kissed me before I left the car. At some point, around fifth grade or so, I asked him to stop because I thought it was too embarrassing to have the other kids at school seeing me kissing my dad. I would think about this again years later when it got very difficult for him to get out of bed. Still whenever we left the house he would make sure to kiss me before I left. He never let us forget how much he loved us.
Erin Chan-Adams My loving father November 3, 2013
So many memories of my dad, it's hard to pick just one. I guess one of the things I'll miss the most is calling him at work, listening to him answer the phone and say in a serious voice, "Ken Chan speaking." When I replied, "Hi dad!," his whole tone changed and you could practically hear him smiling through the phone when he responded, "Well hello precious!"

I will miss him calling me "precious."
